Lol, yeah I kinda like altezza's too, in some applications on trucks they look good. Xenon headlights are good just dont blind me lol - or turn your headlight strobes on when driving(those are cool).

Ace they do look good on the Eclipses. Oh and Toyota Supra tail lights look good in some trucks rollpans, ever see them?

what i was saying about the exhaust and headers is meant to mean... That all the V-8 boys do, mostly, is add headers, and then put straight pipes on it.... now that is the worst sounding thing known to man, worse than the weedwhacker on steroids IMO... i just hate the blatting noise that the engine makes.

I have never seen a mustang that had any ext. work done to it... domestic boys are usually uncreative in that sense of styling their cars... all they care about is the motor... and the V-8... whoopdey dooo.. ur car has a v-8... It could have nothing done to it, and they would still claim that their stang would beat a "ricer" in an SI or a GSR w/ intake, exhaust, headers, and cam gears... BS...

That's the only reason that i don't like the "anti-rice" domestic people. face it.. ur ****ed pushrod V-8 is outdated.. there is replacement for displacement.. and i bet that if any of you were actually tosted by a guy in a honda you would still say that you killed them, just cuz you need to say that ur V-8 is better.

What really makes me mad is all those Ricers that just put a cone filter and muffler on there hondas and do up the body for "ALL SHOW NO GO". Im a big mustang fan and im prowd of it. and for those that say that most mustangs/camaros are never done up, is that you cant tell if they are or anrt. My friend has a 89 Mustnag GT with 93 SVT 302 bored 0.030 over, raceing cam/ lifters, port and polished heads, shaved valves, high compression pistons, bbs shorty headers Full 3" flowmaster exhaust, 30 series mufflers, no cats, ram air system/ k&n air filter :: Exterior :: lowered 3", 17x10.5"ROH rims and Pirelli rubber.

When he got his car last year it sounds no different than it does today other than a high RPM then you can tell the difference, but Horse power and Torque are a different story.

what im sayign is that Ricers see a mustang or camaro and just assume is just all stock and cant handle worth s*** because is a V8 RWD car, But there are some people out there like my friend that can really drive there Mustangs/ Camaros and even if you try track racing them they will still beat you, if that driver knows what he or she is doing behind the wheel.

im an anti-ricer, but that doesnt mean ill drive a v8. im a big fan of dohc and sohc technology, and would rather have a forced induction straight 6 than an "outdated v8" any day.

i think youre just missing the point that rice does not mean japanese cars...its the 'ghetto modded' cars whose owners THINK theyre fast. if i had a fairly fast v8, and a civic beat me (without n2o), then id give him props b/c that takes a lot of work/money/talent...but just b/c he has racing stripes, n2o stickers, coffee can exhaust DOES NOT MAKE HIM/HER FAST!

I totally agree with you Eric, seems like theres some stubborn people here that still dont realize my point though....

I, do not hate Honda's(or imports). I hate ricers, the people as stated before "All show, no go" that make there car lQQk fast, but actually hurt their performance(by placing a boeing 747 wing on a FWD car....) or the 8" exhaust tip on the stock 2-3" piping(if that). You weed eater sound does not sound good, its only good for scaring the poor old war vets or attracting killer bee's. Cutting your springs and calling it lowered is not cool, your fate resides in that pothole you try and avoid everyday. Your missmatched or unpainted body kit does not look good...and why put Japanese characters on your windows when you dont even know what they mean?

I am not a hater, let me remind you that there are different types of rice: Import Rice, Domestic Rice, and German Rice(I'll say its different that import just to catagorize the Bimmers and Merc's).

I would drive an import, and have...but do not "rice" it out....I take the nessesary steps to make it fast, not just an intake bigger than your engine and an 8" tip, etc.

DiamondAudioFan - you seem to miss my point, a Ricer, is someone who makes their car lQQk fast when it really isnt...If there car is fast(with the proper performance mods) it is not considered rice. Oh and another thing I forgot to mention was, adding stickers to your car when the product is no where to be seen.....ex. NOS, Nitrous Express(please explain why you see so many of them on cars not so equiped) Eibach(again, no lowering springs, just got welder happy) and various other ones.

Harness' are meant the keep you inplace also for AutoX which isnt about fast straight line but going around a lot of turns where you needem so you dont slide outta the seat

is copied from DTM racing in europe i wouldnt really call it ricey , on my car atleast its and improvement as my stock wipers **** major *** cant see shit in the rain unless i got a bunch of RainX on the window

Why does the civic had to be w/o n20? Its a mod he payed for and its simply the cheapest way to gain x amount of horsepower.

The import bashing goin on is pretty childish. I personally hate domestics but i feel no reason to bash them. If a person wants to mod a geo prizm to all hell let him its his decision not yours.

Btw i dont drive a civic i drive a 240sx w/ a ca18det and w/o n20(or Nawwwss if you like)
