Ant Cont

If you wire the remote lead to the antenna connector, you won't get it to turn on at all.

If your head unit doesn't have a blue wire for the remote, you could always wire it via a Bosch-type relay to the fusebox; just make sure it's an ignition switched circuit. I've given jump starts to more than one friend who wired it to an SPST switch direct to the battery and forgotten to shut it off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The first time I cut it on the other day when it was hooked to the motor antenna connector the amp cut on but i didnt have time to get music to it. Can I take the white terminal off off the blue wire with white line down it that is connected to another and just electrical tape them three together?

Ok...instead of having to wire into my fuse panel, can I just take the terminal clamp off of two wires and put my remote wire with them. The only reason I ask this is because I was told that a blue wire with a white line down it is for my remote.

A blue wire with a white stripe generally is the power antenna wire...so it'll only turn on the amplifiers when the radio is turned on. A solid blue wire generally is the remote lead, unless you don't have a solid blue wire at all.

Regardless, it sounds like the best thing to do would be to hook it up to the fusebox like I mentioned.

Exactly the opposite is true. Blue = power antenna, blue/white = remote turn-on. If the head unit only has one or the other, it's remote turn-on.
