Another what car thread

What about a new Civic Si?

Get good gas mileage and are quick and don't look to bad. I loved the one I test drove, but didn't want the payment at the time............and with the times right now, I am glad I didn't get that. Still a very nice car.

I like the Lexus IS300 route as well. Those can be wicked fast as well.

the f-body is gonna run the hardest out of them, a blast to drive and with a 6sp will get the same milage as the rest of them.

On top of that, at half the price of ur choices, leaves u will plenty of cash to build it up anymore if needed.

I like the sti simply because of the snow.

Even with knowledge of how to drive in the snow, rearwheel drive cars are a bish.

IMO

Nothin like loosin the backend just a little bit in the snow and hitting somthing.

Buddy did that in his SS camaro.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Very disappointed in you bigbang! lol

Not even close to the suggestions in this thread for bang for buck ratio. Not nearly as quick as any in my list either. Worst of all front wheel drive.

hmmm this one is wise!

Only thing stopping me is somewhat dated looks, newest is 02. (And this is from someone who lusted after z28's all through high school).

Yeah, I've been hearing the LS1's with the 6 speed will get decent mileage on highway, like 26mpg if you're careful!

And some extreme ignorance here! They are VERY quick for the money you spend, handle extremely well for a FWD car, and are very practical seeing as the gas prices are ridiculous. Plus you get a decent trunk and back seats that are usable. I see the Civic Si as a great deal. Don't get me wrong, I much rather a RWD sports car, but we're factoring in practicality here.

Idk If I agree with that. How much is a 2008 si? What about hp/tq ratings? What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?

i got 29.9 loaded down, back tires almost rubbing when i moved from CA to TX. With a clogged cat im still gettin 25+. In town if im not beating on it 15-20mpg.

And i dont know if the looks of a 4th gen ***** am will ever be dated, i love mine and get compliments almost everytime i take it out...

And stock for stock, im not the least bit scared or worried about beating any of ur other choices in a race //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
