ive looked and searched the threads and cant really find any help so dont hate

i wanna make a ported box for my 2 type r 12's the '04 model which call for 300rms a piece - there pushed by a rockford 750s 2 channel that puts about 800rms out.

my max demensions are 16tall 14deep and 36 wide

its going in a 2000 camry mostly for daily driving but maybe a local comp here and there

i think your box is going to end up much smaller than recommended:

here's a moe lester box that's close:

it's bigger than the dimensions you allow for, and it's only 2.9 ft^3 @ 34Hz.

i might be able to use it thanks for that i was just trying to not take up my entire trunk

my very absolute max dem. are 15x16.5x38 but that'll be a tite fit im afraid and i might not get it in my trunk

This might sound stupid, but it happens all the time . . .

Make sure you can get the box in the trunk after you build it. Just because those are your max dimensions, they might not be the max dimensions of what will fit throught he opening. Friendly reminder.

since you may want to go to comps im guessing it has to be ported....since you dont have much room you may just want to go sealed....it depends on the music you listen to really if you want it to sound good....metal and rock is sealed and rap/hip hop is ported....either way rap and hip hop will sound good in both....just use the max dimensions you got and figure out how to tune it and go from there...make sure you got room for your amp or amps if you were not thinking about it lol

yeah, you could fit two 12's on that baffle, and that's about the biggest dimensions he could allow, so I posted it as an example of the max net volume he could get in that space.
