front stage:

All Dynaudio (and plenty)

amps:

Zapco... undecided what models yet...

subwoofers:

???

nothing is installed yet and the amps have not been purchased... im 32yrs old and again have the high school itch... im looking something with superior sound, but also want to be able to blow my freinds d#@*$ in the dirt when needed (bass)... was thinking about 2-10's or 2-12's 4-8's (maybe treo?)?????

ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

You are asking a lot. Superior sound, and winning at (I assume) spl comps don't normally go together. If you want something that would get pretty **** loud, and sound VERY good doing it a pair of IDMAX 12s ported, and a Zapco 9.0 would sound insane.

Winning an SPL comp and sounding good are rarely together for one simple reason: the box. SPL boxes are tuned high, up in the 45Hz area I -think-. But that'll sound horrible for music listening.

Unless you're in an area with people that know a whole lot about building a system, chances are any high-end SQ-oriented sub given the right setup will crush 'em. The few people in my area that have systems have whatever they could afford that day from Circuit City (the only tech store in town before it closed last year) thrown into a pre-fab box usually with an amp that's too weak and a stock head unit.

ok... car swap here... 08 ACCORD EXL 2DR...

my local dealer is suggesting my same front stage set-up...

and

a custom built ported box in the trunk w/ 1-12" sub... he says it would ROCK! believe were going TREO on the sub...

i was almost thinking of going w/ a JL AUDIO 13" W7, but not sure if that would be the right decision???

any suggestions here???

I think the w7 is way over priced, you can a better sub for half the price of a w7, check out AQ
