I gun is always last choice and it should be a visual deterrent first but I would much rather have one and not need it then not have it and need it...

I agree. But do you feel comfortable with every other ******* in the room having one also? Not knowing what they could possibly use it for or they pull it when its not needed and start a shoot out..?

Its easy to say yeah, everyone should have the right to carry, but also remember how stupid some people are!

Indeed. But I know people I wouldn't trust with a water gun. I saw a poll where 53% of the idiots who posted agreed that guns should be outlawed.

We all know that guns in the right hands would have prevented any crimes of the nature, or at least minimized this.

Its only the unstable people that cause problems like this. If we all had a little self defense, the world would have a lot more backbone. Less people would attempt this knowing that the person next to them could blow their head off at any minute if they so dared.

You also wouldn't have all these "politically correct" people that are further from the truth. I have my permit to carry, and you better believe i would have pulled out my glock 22 and put a .40 hollow point right in that dudes ******* face, and then bam maybe only 2-3 people would have died.

I fully agree and have always thought the same thing. The idiots like that guy are the ones we need protection from. If there were people in that theater carrying guns, the idiot may have been stopped before killing 15 people.

Motley, you'd be really surprised to know just how many people sitting next to you in church or standing in line at the grocery store are carrying guns. I carry one almost every time I leave my house. Maybe one day when you or your mother, brother, sister is getting robbed or car-jacked one of us "law abiding citizens" will save your ***.
