Another Shocker motor to restore

I decided to paint the top and bottom plate a couple of days apart because this thing is a pain to move around. I will wait a few days for all of the paint to dry and then I will start thinking about the top assembly. I ordered mew coils that should work perfect for this motor and they work in many applications with just about any standard 3" coil motor.

 
You should have treated the metal of the motor with phosphoric acid to prevent it from rusting again. Just cause it's painted over with rustoleum or some sort of rust prevent paint won't stop it from rusting.

Either way it looks good. That isn't much rust I've had worse with a salt water flooded re sx
