I have a 06 F150 Regular cab truck and I am looking to do a custom enclosure for it and get the best sound that I can.

-30 Inches in length. I could have 55 if the box was designed to go around a seatbelt mount the sticks out.

-10 Inches Bottom depth.

-Roughly 6 Inches top depth.

-Height of about 24 Inches

I have been thinking of 2 10"s, 1 12", or maybe 1 15". Whatever the best sound I can get out of the space I have is what I want.

I am not sure on the sub yet but I have been eying the Fi Q and RD Classic as well as 12w6. So a SQ sub is what I am looking for. If I have too I will choice the sub/subs depending on how the box will turn out.

I have been thinking if I went with a 12 or 15 then I could side fire it almost in the middle of the cab.

I am going to have this box custom built for me (so I don't screw it up) but I would like your opinions and suggestions on it.

I don't want it to hinder the comfort of either the driver or passenger seat...I don't want people riding with me complaining how the seat is 90 degrees because it won't go back farther because of the sub box.

I will have pictures of the space very shortly to show you exactly what it looks like.

Thanks

Here is a rough picture of where the box will be going.

You will be very hard pressed to fit a 15 in there. I have an 03 reg cab and have done a similar build. I've had an JL 8W7, Atomic AP/SPL 12" and am working on my IA DP 15" build. I'd be willing to help ya out if you need any. Reg cabs are tough to do, no doubt about it. Here are a couple pictures of my reg cab setups, hope they give you some ideas...

The box to the left is my current setup with the atomic. The right box is for the DP 15".

Another problem you are going to run into is amp placement. I had a lot of trouble finding room for my amp. I have it currently under the passanger side but I very much so dislike that placement. There is just no other room.

If you have any questions feel free to ask..

I wish I didn't have a regular cab //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I am having powernaudio build me a custom ported box for a single 12". It should fit great and I am hoping it will be loud also.
