Another "what sub?" thread!!

Alright so financially i had a plan going for two rl-p 18's walled in my truck.... well that aint happening anytime soon! ran into some trouble! so i want just one 15. a 15 that will get nice and loud off of 1200-1500 rms. what should i get?? i have enough room for a nice 4-5 cubes to work with in the back of my truck so space is not an issue. im just looking for a 15 that will get NASTY loud and shake stuff! shoot out suggestions! also price range will exclude dd's or aq's probably gona pick one up used off here . thanks guys

**** if only you could get a DD. My buddy has one 15" DD, and man does that thing pound for only one sub. Running off a 3k watt planet audio amp i believe. Maybe you can find a decent one for a price you can afford tho.

yeah i know! i really want a dd but i really cant afford it. nor will i have enough power. imo

Im not sure how he has it wired up, so dono what its really pushing to the sub. He actually might have it wired down to 1 ohm, pushing like 2400 rms maybe? Im not totally sure. But its so ****ing loud. And you will never guess how much he got it for...

i really want a DD witch is a gmc Denali but i have a HDC3 wich is a Chevy suburban but not bad

but really that mofo sounds amazing...i put my neighbor on em and he has 4 12"s 6 batts a 250 alt and feedin them 2200 a piece and an oldschool '85 delta 88 man it has a 10 body trunk on that thing he coulda did 18's

i have 4 18's....... imma do my wall at 38hz hopefully

its finna be summer time everyone needs thier system installed so we all can feel good and BANG!

I got a brand new re sx 18 from my local swap area for $230

diddnt even have holes thru the surround for mounting yet.

it scares ppl in my car. im good tho. actually sounding normal to me now

but still - new ppl are like "ahhhh" maby im used to it now tho.

if there was a TL anywhere in south FL, id love to know what it can do off 1400w rms

to tell you, but sadly - south FL is ghey.
