i think its more up to what you are going to use it for. how you will use it how much power and so forth...

my top ten......

1. IDW 15's-18's old id subs

2. aluma pro alcies

3. solo barics from kicker - gotta be set up right

4. id idmax

5. brahma

6. shiva

7. boston pro

8. usd believe they were called the b series

9. focal 5.25 subs - would rate higher if 10 of them werent needed for a punchy output

10. jl w anything cause they all good

then you havent heard them set up well... do you notice what kicker did this year in sq comps? im not talking about throwing them into q logic boxxes and EVERY small box woofer that was suppost to be awesome sounds like a big woofer in a small box to me...w7's are best example

Other KICKER-equipped champions included Justin Whitty (SPL – Outlaw Stock 151-300 Watts), Greg McCool (SPL – Outlaw Pro Stock 301+ Watts), Chris St. Aubin (SQ – Basic Pro 301+ Watts), Mike Richards (SQ – Advanced Consumer 301-600 Watts), Markey Dietrich (SQ – Pro 151-300 Watts), and Cory Himel (SQ – Pro 601+ Watts) Mark Eldridge won as well as Gary Biggs... that was usac world finals..... and did about as well in iasca finals. to NOT put a woofer that wins BOTH spl and sq WORLD titles in a top ten would be wrong

maybe its just all the kicker installs that I have heard, just dont have good SQ, I mean it is not an SQ designed sub, it has the potential for SQ, but I just dont feel it should be in the same category as a Boston Pro or and Eclipse TI or JL W7
