Another polyfill question

I wouldn't expect them to...polyfill simply makes the sub act like it's in a larger enclosure, with all the benefits and drawbacks a larger sealed enclosure brings with it. Lower power handling, deeper/flatter frequency response, lower overall SPL...

Would it lower powerhandling? I thought a larger sealed box only lowered powerhandling because of less "springyness" of the air inside pushing back against the cone, making it easier for the sub to move (more efficient). But would polyfill change this characteristic? Its not like some polyester fibers in a box can change its air compression characteristics, or can it?
