Another new car thread.....

Well............I am seriously thinking about selling my truck and a few other things and getting something else. Top price I pay for something will be right around 12 grand. I really want a fast car:yumyum: but .....the only reason i haven't sold my truck yet is becase i really like it in the winter. I was looking at a camero z28 or something along those lines. I love the sound of V8's and their performance but if I could find a V6 that has the same performance as a V8 I would diffinentely consider it. Also i was looking at the mitisubishi 3000gts but they stopped making them in '99 and they are all old. Any suggestions on what kind of cars to look at? 5.0??? get one with decent miles(80k) for about 4000, you can get a new 5.7l 347 i think it is, and a new ******, for around 7000 and the rest can go into other things...

The 3000gt's are only good in the VR4 trim. And even then they arent that good as they break down alot and are a ***** to fix. But if you do some bolt ons they are extremely fast cars. For 6 grand you could probably find a 3000gt vr4 and fix it up with the remainder and have a nice fast car

Didn't realize that about them, but thanks for the info and I think I am going to steer away from them becuase I am looking for a reliable car.

Great idea but i guess i didn't mention this... I am looking for something that needs nothing repalced or anything like that. I want a car that i can drive off with performance....the only thing I will add to it will most likely be an exhaust and mabey a intake (no new engines or anthing like that).

ohh then still get a 5.0, its imposible to find a non modded one, and if you do its usally more money ,i just went out with a friend in his and that thing will throw you back into the seat, only headers, cam, intake and exhaust

You know I really like mustangs and their performance, but it just seems like there are 10 billion of em in my town. I see them all over and I kind of want something different. THere are a ton of camaros too but not many newer ones like '00 and newer.

I have a 96 Mustang and a 06 Saleen....I like both...You can always do something custom with a Mustang and make it stand out a little bit more....

depends on the driver...keep in mind a race is never between the 2 cars..its between the 2 drivers..whoever can drive better wins..you can have a 600hp car but if you dont know how to use all of it..what good is it..but ti answer your question id go with the z28..
