well im looking to either get the 1000.1 or the 1500.1...im leaning more towards the 1000.1 because it will fit my needs just fie plus i could always add another if i wanted...now my question is:

Do these things do rated power? i know the 2000.1 does rated but it seems like half the people say it will do rated and a little bit more and others say its just a hifonics board and wont do rated unless you have perfect 14.4 voltage....my car doesnt drop much but ive seen 12 volts before.

so whats your opinion on the mbquarts dsc1000.1

Wondering this myself...

With people running around saying "Hifonics do rated," who can you trust lol?

ya this is what im trying to figure out...it may have already been answered about but search doesnt work...

how come?
go with the 1500. even if it doesnt do rated you'll still have enough power for what you want.
i dont remember why he got bant but honestly i want a users opinion not a seller.....plus i want the 1000 cuz if i do want to add another one 2000 is fine...i hav no earthly need for 3k.....plus jacob and i spoke and we kinda agreed the 1000.1 will be just fine for the 8's...

One amp is class a/b and the other is class d.

If your goal is 1000 watts it's better to get that wattage from a 1500 watt amp than it would be a 1000 watt amp that way you don't get near clipping and try to max an amp out.

First. The MB Quart Amps ARE NOT THE SAME as the Hifonics, your the same guy who thinks his audiopipe is the same as a sundown 2K right ?

Second, It wil do rated.

Third, id go with the 1500 just to stay away from clipping and have some head room.
