i have my amp grounded to my chasis now with the big 3. should i add a ground from my battery negative to amp, if so how big, 4 ga?. and should i leave the ground from the amp to chasis on and just add the second ground right to that point on the chasis?

i also have a 2.0 farad capacitor now, i hear mixed things about these, should i dump that off my setup?

it can probably never hurt to have enough grounds
unless there at multiplepoints in the vehicle, then your creating a bunch of ground loops, and ideal way would be to attach a large gu. wire to the chassis at a good grounding point and run it into a ground distro block and run all of your 'aftermarket' or alternative grounds into that

Unless one of those ground paths goes through the signal cable, there won't be a problem. Multiple grounds for one comoponent will not cause noise. A bad ground for one component and good grounds for the components hooked to it usually will though.
