Just got this one sent to me about 5 minutes ago:

Due to recent activity, including possible unauthorized listings placed on your account, we will require a second confirmation of your identity with us in order to allow us to investigate this matter further.

I have been doing both lately, selling and buying things.

when Ebay needs to contact you (other than and item you bidded on, won, are selling, or sold) they will state your first and last name. If the issue has nothing to do with an auction in question....they will use your first/last name

I may be wrong though

all Ebay/Paypal emails have to have your first and last name.

even the auction related emails (they will start with your first and last name and yout ID in parenthesis)

As long as he doesn't make a thread everytime he has buttsecks with chinny, I think we'll all be ok. Don't want to overload the server.
