paypal doesnt have anyone's SSN, so it wont show up on a credit report.

That depends on what type of PayPal account you hold.

If you have a Premier or Business account and have one of the PayPal debit cards they most assuredly do have your SSN.

they do have your ss # when you sign up with a cc or bank account you have to put it in

give them the documents and the emails. If you have to, since you do have both addresses, you can threaten to file a lawsuit against the guy.

If they have your SSN, then yes they could send it for collection. If they only have a bank number and CC number, they can't take the money out. As I have and had a premier account and they did NOT have my SSN. They will only suspend your paypal account. If you were smart you took the money that the buyer paid correct?

I had this happen to me a couple years ago and they tried to get me to pay the money back to paypal >$600. I told them to fk off since the buyer did get the item and I had proof. They suspended the account and I opened another one under my wifes name. You will not be able to attach the CC or bank number on you current account to an other account now.

i have one and they didnt have mine until my account was put on a limited status because I sold more merchandise then average

I run an ebay business, heres what you do, #1 no matter what you have to get in touch with paypal over the phone and explain what happened, other than that theres not too much to do, i've had numerous instances of this, but if you get in contact with paypal they usually work stuff out.

My other account is still negetive, 2+years ago. If you call them and explain what happened and they don't take your side, screw that account, as long as they don't have your SSN.

do you have any tracking numbers or shipping receipts?

Contact some of the buyer's feed back, and search it. I won a paypal dispute and one of the main things was some of the feedback described my exact situation.

****.. that happened to me once. Sold a $400 phone on ebay without delivery confirmation and they sent a complaint to paypal saying they never got it. They got their money refunded and a $400 phone for free. Learned my lesson though..
