Take a wrench, touch it to the postive terminal, and then touch it to the car...
(and then don't sue me, if you're still alive, because you don't have a knowledge of electrical theory...)
What do you think those CCA ratings are for...if you short it out, it'll try to discharge into the load. Even if that load happens to be you.
