Ok so basically i have one type R 12" in a 1.75cuft box @~32hz... Anyways i was wondering if i put around 750-800 watts say from a audioque 1200d @2ohms( i say 750-800 bc i only have 12.8volts and not 14.4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ) And i was wondering if i raamatted or damplifier pro'd my entire trunk and all four doors would it get louder than a 12" l7 in a 2-2.2cuft@~32hz with 750watts off a hifonics titan series with no dampening. This is extremely opinionated i know and i also am pretty sure that a type r will own an l7 in sq anyday but i wanna know if it can get louder and still sound better

It is all about the install mang.

I have seen amps doing 400rms pwn setups with twice the power.

A lot is in the box, how well your electrical is and so on and so on.

Hit search mang. Been discussed many times on here comparing the two.

And honestly my CVX Kicker sounder better than my type R's, which is basically the round version of the L7........so they say.....well most. I think it sounds better myself.

this will change dramatically with the box. 1.75 at 32hz isn't the best box for a type r. and 2-2.2 isn't the loudest box for an L7. i would say that a type R in 2.25 cubes at 35hz, would be close to that L7. put that L7 in 2.75 at 34-38 hz, and i think the type R might have problems keeping up. this is assuming also that they are both in the same car, off the same power, in an equivelant quality install.

Ok thanks alot guys i have so much work to do this summer for my system....(comps, New high amp, audioque 1200d for the sub, raamat, new wiring, and now maybe a new box....) car audio is a never ending addiction or hobby whichever u prefer.
