Another Burnt up Amplifier Question.

Hook it back up in your car to see if it works....

And I honestly have no clue where you're getting these imaginary statistics about the amp.... It's terrible, I've got one myself. I have a "1000w 4 channel" from them, much weaker than my 300w JL, despite it's 300wRms rating. I'm quite certain there's nothing efficient about them. You might be distracted by the chrome and fancy LED that come with it. And if you blew your "80a" fuse, chances are, you're not getting any more than 800w, and even with that I'd be surprised.

Pardon me if I'm coming off like a dick here man, not my intentions, merely trying to open your eyes to the truth.

TheUnderFighter Congrats!! You have an amp that is not the same as mine!, Not to start a rage war! I'm not suggesting the amp is perfect. and I really dont care to have the "Your amp is krap, mines better" conversation. I have 0 Distortion from the AMP after 4 years and ive competed with people who have more power, Larger speakers, and more numerous speakers than I do. I love this amp. If the amp is broken, It goes in the garbage. If it's not broken. I will use it. End of story. I asked a question here. So far I've gotten abunch of people telling me to throw my amp away and a few helpful answers.. (Mind you most of the helpful answers are telling me its just garbadge which I appreciate, Thank you for taking time to read my post and respond approperiately)

BTW. I have 2 Oldschool T1000's That I used to run these speakers off of.. (Thats Oldschool Fosgate so we don't have any more confusion) The Nitro Is cleaner and hits Harder. Im not pulling out the look at my big guns arguement. I'm mearly suggesting I know this thing works. and I would be unable to buy another (Unable to find a "New Product" seller (Let it also be known That I love my T1000's Thats why they are sitting in my closet and not in a bin somewhere.)

Sigh... I really don't need another weeks vacation but this is really bad. My advice OP is to buy a real surround receiver/amp and quit hooking up car audio in your house. That's a really good way to start a fire.

And alas, I have a Nitro amp as well. So we're not comparing apples to oranges, I'm comparing Nitro to Nitro, and I'm telling you they're rubbish. They didn't just make ONE good amplifier, the whole lot *****. And as the specs posted confirmed, they are "rated" at 800w, and I'm quite certain they don't even make that. I've got the Nitro-483, I'm not targeting your amplifier, I'm sharing with you information about an amplifier we share. They are rubbish, I assure you.

It is a junky amp. If you want it fixed, find someone who does amp repairs and take it to them, my guess is multiple components fried when you rigged it up wrong, and it probably isn't worth fixing money wise, but if you love the amp, I'm sure you don't care.

But please buy an amp that is meant for home use so that you don't burn you whole **** house down.

First of all, have you run a big three? It would help with some electrical problems, but in this case not entirely solve it. I would go with a bigger fuse, maybe 250 or 300 to be on the safe side.

Good advice. Listen to this guy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i think you should get about 6 more batteries and give it another go, all hooked up in series. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif
