Another box attempt

Well, construction on yet a new box is going to begin. Not to mention we are already working on one for 2 RLP 15's. But that box is a piece of cake compared to this next one. It's similar to the last box, if you recall, but allows more air flow to the bottom of the box and has a different and more efficient (at least i think) design than the previous. So far, all i got is a sketchup file of the box. But you guys know me, i take lots and lots of pictures once the build begins.

Make sure you round the shit out of all those ports, cuz that thing will be making lots of port noise. However, the second one should be hella less noisy than the first.

How do you calculate tuning as the port seems to be different sizes in a few locations? Good luck with the build, doesn't look easy!!!

It's alot better than the old one, and thats the only way a 15 is getin in my camaro. And it sounded pertty **** loud with that old box. SO your just basing that off of what everyone else says, when really you have no idea what your talking about..

Have you ever heard of something called an AEROPORT? Only way a 15 will properly fit with a decent box, in your vehicle.

How many ports and what size would you recommend for a 3.5cuft box? Where would you put them?

I'm working with bholt and I would really like to make this work.

It does seem like it would be alot less complicated making a weird shaped box and just have aeroports. I cant believe no one has suggested this before.

Just so you guys know, there was 0 port noise with that first box that i made. And i actually found that my wire on the back of my alternator was hella loose, that explains the voltage drops...(read less than 11 with nothing on). But i tighted that up and its nice now. The Q in that "shitty" box i made was alot louder than my mag in it's box..
