another blown tweet?

i used to have the JL VRs in the font of my car and i noticed that my front right speaker wasnt putting out any sound. i brought it to the place that had installed all of my audio stuff and they told me my tweet had blown. i then went out and bought the XR series and not even after a day they had been installed i noticed that the right front speaker began to cut in and out with static at higher volume levels especially if the bass was loud.... does anyone know if this could be becuase of an installation problem? my amp is a 300/4 so i dont think i am over powering them at all and its always my front right speaker that goes out... any one know what my problem is

hook up the speakers to somethin else to make sure its not your deck or amp

if they work, hook it up to just your deck, if it works, its your amp

tweets need to be crossed over.. chances are ur sending them a full range signal i bet
