Another Blown Kicker Amp?

I was riding in my car today and all of a sudden the bass cuts out. I was thinking either a wire came loose or something. I checked all the wire on the amp and everything was hooked up secure. The amp turns on but no sound from the subwoofer.

I had a Kicker 800.2 that did the same thing. Im hoping maybe its the Deck this time tho, It kinda sucks have a $600 sub and not being able to listen to it. If this amp is blown thats $500 down the drain. OR could it be the sub?

Could somebody please help me out?

did you cheak to see if you have juice comming out from the amp to the sub? and test the sub.

Got an audio shop? Take it up there and have em bench test it if you can't find what's wrong. Today I spent 4 hours checking all the wires because my amp wouldn't turn on, turns out there is a short in my battery somewhere, so all i did was pick up the batt about 2'' and drop it and voila it works perfect.

I took the sub out of the box and everything looked fine. I also took the case off the amp and everything looked fine. I didnt smell anything burnt in the sub or the amp.

I dont know what to do next.

Bring to a shop as suggested have it benched for 20$ and honestly it could be ur RCA inputs broken and not getting signal. Or your RCA's but i thinkit's best jsut ot have it benched .

I hooked the sub up to a 9 volt battery and the sub moved out a little bit. So i guess its the amp.

do you have a DMM? check the resistance on the sub. turn your radio on, hook the voltmeter to the output of your amp...are you reading an AC voltage?

Well I called the shop thats like 40 miles away and they told me that they would be able to test it.

So I drove there and got lost trying to find the place. I finally found it, but then the guy told me that they wont have their board untill tomorrow.

So then I hooked my friends amp and sub in my car and it worked so It has to be my amp.

Dont have a warranty so I guess Im screwed again.
