Annoying Hum....and a review.

I have an annoying hum on my home audio system when I change sources and when a sources is on pause. It seems to go away if I turn up the volume. I would say check for grounds but where can you check for grounds on a home audio system?

I also have to turn up the volume more than past halfway to be very audible. The channels are rated at 100x5 @ 6 ohms. My set is 8 ohms but I would figure it still should be plenty loud?

Also, I run that EQHS sub from eD that they sell for $25. It is pretty nice.

Get a three-to-two prong adapter, and plug it in between the cord and the wall outlet. If your noise disappears, you know you have a ground loop in the system...
