An oldie with a noobish amp question. Kicker vs RF

Well I am going to stick with the big name retailers on this go around. Been out of the game for some time and havent been doing any car audio reading what so ever. I have an old KX1200.1 from around 03-05 that I am wanting to upgrade to a newer more efficient technology (or so id imagine)

So make a long story short the two amps in question, the new KX 1200.1 ( assuming its a much nicer unit then my current 04 model) or the new RF T1000?

Right now the RF T1000 looks more enticing. Its rated 1000w@1ohm as well as 1000w@2ohm. Perhaps a more well rounded amp like that of the JL Slash and HD's? Im basically looking for a 1000w powehouse that produces a clean power off a stock electical system.

Pros and cons of each? Thanks guys.

Why stick with a big name brand? If you must i would stay with your kicker. If its still putting out i would just keep your cash. Your not really going to see that much off a differance unless you went to like a mmats or some other uber efficient company

I had an SAZ 1500d first gen. Was an excellent amp but im looking to down size. The kx seems to be doi.ng very well just wanted to know if the newer kx and RF T1000 are a better/more powerful amp. The KX i have is more of a backup amp,I used to have two vehicles.. Ill be running a stock electrical so im looking to stay around a 1000 watts.

The RF Power lineup I do like cause they do rated power at 1 ohm as well as 2 ohm. Just seems like the T1000 is more well rounded then my current KX and im assuming is more efficient
