an affordable to run 2 10" alpine type r

i have 2 10" dvc alpine type r (4 ohm) and i need an affordable amp to run them. I have a crappy 1200 watt legacy amp and it will only run 1 coil on each sub. I need some suggestions for an amp below $300 that would make my subs thump.

That Amp could do it.

Since it pushes 800 watts rms x 1 at 4 ohms that will split into 400 watts rms per sub and I think should be more than enough power for those subs/

You need to wire them up like that middle picture with the 2 subs.

DVC has nothing to do with pushing power to each coil, dvc's are more wiring operations, with dvc's they can work with a more vartiey of amps.

189.00 + 17.95 And that guy who is selling that amp on ebay sold me my pioneer radio, he does not play around, he sells good quality stuff, and gets it to you fast! and cheap! And he even let me pay with two different payments before I got my radio which was nice of him.

some websites have said that the 12's are 300 rms so the 10s will be a bit lower. It's better to get a bigger amp than subs can handle because it lets to adjust much better, and it won't over work your amp, and for the price of that boss it ain't too bad ya know.

First off, BOSS amps are far from good, in any line. They are undependable, and very overrated. The REV3000D series is the best they make, and it is comparable (Virtually the same) to the Lanzar Vibe1200D. That being said, compare an overrated Lanzar amp, claiming to put 1200W out, to a claimed 3000W amp from BOSS. In reality, the BOSS would put out about 1/3 of what it claims (

ever used a boss amp??

their 1900 watt amps put out fewer watts than a JBL 1200.1, and boy are they dirty dirty ass watts....

Actually, your assumption was wrong, teh 10's are rated as teh same as the 12's...

300 RMS.....

and they can handle much much more than taht...

and for 200 bucks, it would be much better off jsut getting the JBL for 50-75 bucks more, and having it put out tons o watts, and cleaner watts, as well as lasting longer, staying much cooler and overall being much more impressive...

other than that, he was totally right...

you could send those subs the pwoer at 4 ohms (easier on em) or even, if you wantedf to get adventurous, 3 or 2 ohms...

wont last as long that way tho (the subs)

I used a god ****ed audiobahn 2300 hcx high current amp...

I know qualilty car audio Ain''t cheap.

I was just posting what he wanted. If I took the time I could prolly find a nice name brand.
