Amps wont turn on. AT ALL. WHY?? help

Ok, my system has been playing fine. Now, for some reason the amps wont turn on. the mono is always in protect, and my 2ch wont turn on. my headunit/EQ/and 6x9's play. nothing else. ive checked ground, all fuses, all wiring. everything is fine. i even disconnected to mono amp to see if the 2ch would atleast play my components. NOTHING. i have no clue on whats going on... at all... i havea 100A fuse at my battery, my kicker amp has two 40A, and the 2ch i belive has a 20A fuse. so it should be fused right. im clueless, i have no idea whats going on. please help before i have to go pay some guy at an audio shop to do it for me. im leaving for work so ill check my replys when i get home. thanks guys

Have you tested all the connections with a test light? Just to verify for instance that your remote wire really has power? The protect issue sounds bad tho........maybe something happened back at the distro blocks? stray strands of wire...anything?

get out your DMM and start checking things.

Check your power wires at each amp. Check your remote wire at each amp. Check the impedance the amps are seeing since one of them went into protect. Pull your fuses out and look at them, also check them with the DMM, sometimes they go bad without actually popping normally.

You're bound to find something suspicious, and when you do, trace it back to the source and fix it.

got out a voltage meter and found out that when the gain is up and playing bass heavy it drops to the low 11's. so im going to geta kinetik600 for the trunk to help with that. everything is working now, i got out a tester and tested the connections. everything was seeing power, then i turned my car on and the amps came back on. dont know why, but they did.... they havent been working for 2 days, now all of a sudden they come back on.

if u havent done the big 3, which it doesnt sound like you have, you should definitely do it
