the shivas are dvc4? do you know what size coil they had? or who could provide recones for them?

Yes all Shivas should be DVC4's, but it has been 6 years since I used the two blown ones, so I can barely remember. The working one is definitely a dual 4 ohm voice coil.

I do not know where to get them repaired or I would have done it, and maybe use two or three of them with the JBL BP1200.1 in my Focus hatch. I haven't tried to find anywhere to repair in a long time, but I have just started looking again recently.
