Well im 97% sure im going to be purchasing a Dodge dakota R/T within the next couple monthes. theres is a bench seat in back and the driver side is a double and the pasenger is a single and they fold up. since the seats are about 7 to 8 inches from the floor, im looking to fold the double up and put a box with 2 DD9910s and then put the amps and possible battery under the seat of the single bench that will stay down for use. even the single seat is plenty wide enough to fit 2 amps side by side and possibly a battery.

i dont have any first hand experience with the 99 series. i have messed with a friends 9515 on an orion 2500 but thats as much as i have messed with DD. i know there capable of putting out a lot of power though.

im looking at putting in a 160A alt. MAX 2 yellow tops if needed and 2 runs of 1/0. do you think just 2 orion 2500s is enough or am i wasting the potential of this sub? what would you suggest for amps. im thinking either 2 amps at 2500, 2 amps at 3000, or maybe one hifonics 10,000 and running 5000 to each. whats my best option for these 2 tens?

for reference, im looking at a little more SPL then SQ. if we where to look at it on a scale on 100, 1 being SQ, 50 being SQL and 100 beinga all out SPL im looking for like a 75 or 80.

why im going with the 99 series is i want to go with DD but there boxes demand too much space. the dakota is a very small truck so since its going in the cap all i can afford room wise is 2 tens.

any input on my situation would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

FYI I heard kinetik is coming out with a burp battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

kinetik? that would be sick since those can be found so much cheaper then yellowtops.

but 2 runs of 1/0 for each sub? isnt that a little much? especially

hes probably talking about the runs from the battery to the amplifier. More the better in terms of db's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Why not get one good amp for them like a DD Z1a?
thats definatly a possibility.

edit, are you talking one or one for each driver? i can afford 1 but anything after that... im not getting competative so i dont need 2500 to 3000 dollars worth of used amps...

one more thing that i forgot to add. how would i run 4 power wires? unless i get them custom made all i can find is a distro with 2 0/1s a piece with 4g out. so even if i get 2 of them what do i do comming out? just one 4 G out if each one? i know i just cant make the 4g more then X amount of feet long but the distro will be right next to the amp so on each block ill do 2 0g then out with one piece of 4g thats a few inches long to the amp? even though i wont have the truck for a few monthes im starting to buy this stuff now. thanks again in advance.

Use the batteries in the back for distribution.

I would also recommend one single amp for the subs such as a z1a, 40.1, atomic 5000 or even a sundown 3000 should be plenty.

And by 4 runs I think he is meaning two power and two ground but I could be mistaken.

There is no reason to have that many pushing less than 5000 watts. Do two of each and you will be fine.

My system is actually similar as I have a 40.1 and two 9510s, but I also have a 200 amp alternator with two deka 31s on there way for the back and a deka up front.

I will let you know next weekend after the batteries get here. But I have done similar set-ups before so I am thinking it will be just about right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
