what gauge wire should i get for an audioque aq1200d amp? 1200rms @ 1 ohm. I was thinking 0g but with my current bidget thats left not sure if i can afford it cuz 0g wire gets expensive.. would 4g wire be fine? if so whats a good kind to get? that doesnt cost a fortune

4awg will be fine for the 1200D. It's what it was built for.

As far as wiring goes. Try this:

4 gauge will do the job. But, if there is any chance you think you may upgrade in the future, you may want to use 1/0. That way, your wiring will (most likely) never need to be upgraded.

If necessary, you can use a reducer to fit 1/0 into a 4 gauge opening.

But arent their wires copper clad aluminum?
