Amplifier upgrade -- Advice please

Hey all...

I have the following in my truck:

2 sets of Focal component speakers -- 1 in each of 4 doors...

Powered by a Pioneer Avic-D1 head-unit...

Now -- I was thinking of upgrading my 4 channel amp.....

Currently I have a JL 450/4 pushing the components.... It's okay but I want it louder + more crisp.....

WOULD a Mcintosh Mcc404 (100X4 at 4 ohms) be a good upgrade?

I was looking at spending around $1000 or so on a very good amp.
