a dual XPR520 amplifier with two 300rms 4 ohm pioneer subwoofers. I checked all fuses which have .2 ohms resistance and ground path is straight to frame through floor. REM is to a 20 amp fuse going to my ignition triggered outlet in the vehicles fuse box. I have double checked all wires for shorts and polarity of speaker wires. However the amplifier is stuck in protect mode.

Like @maylar said, delay the turn on to the amplifier only. 3 to 5 seconds should take care of it.
