ok im fixing to get this amp maybe from a friend here are the specs

4 x 125 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms

4 x 250 Watts Max at 4 Ohms

2 x 500 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged

4 x 200 Watts at 2 Ohms

now my question, whats the diff between rms and max power, i know rms is continously but whats max power? i am going to run it as a 2 channel amp and i want to run 500 to both, but it says 500 max power, so is that going to be continously 500??

yeah you'll probably be running only 250 to each and not 500. Max power is typically an overestimated figure to sucker people into buying a 2000 watt amp for 50 bux or something (for reference - look up legacy, have a laugh). Odds are you won't get the 500x2 in burps, either(burps are when that one note hits and hits harder than the regular rms ratings -isnt' that right?).

Basically, just ignore max ratings in general and go with rms (if u want to be on the safe side).
