Amplifier Help

Okay, so I have an Alpine MRD-300 mono block hooked up to one 12" MTX @ 4 ohms.. problems is I have absolutely no output. The amp powers up fine and with the car on Im getting 14.3-14.4 Volts, what I need to know, is if the amp were in safe mode would I get some output? Im trying to rule out what could be the cause

When the amp is in safe mode that just means it doesn't load any unneeded drivers or scripts so that any bad configurations and some viruses will not effect it. Oh wait...

check rca's then chec your HU to see if there's a subwoofer switch where u can turn the sub out on and off.

the protection light that is next to the power light would come on if it were in "safe mode" and there would be zero output. If that light is not on then i would sudjest that you check your rcas in the back of the deck.

and have you tried adjusting the "gains" nob or any other nobs on the amp?

I have not messed with the gains at all (I figured that was something I could do after I'm atleast getting some output) , I made sure that the sub mode or whatever from my deck was on. I will recheck my rca's
