amplifier help

hello everyone, am new to this website but i find it very helpfull

i bought 2-3 weeks ago an amp power acoustik BAMF5500/1D , i don't know if what is written about it is even true ( 3200 watt @ 1ohm) ,,, anyway did anyone tried it before and on what subwoofer(s) , i was thinking of putting to it 2 kenwood 12" 1500 watt KFC-W3514DVC (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8878_Kenwood+KFC-W3514DVC.html) , i don't know if it will sound good on it ,, please help

1500w kenwood?? More like 250w.. If a $100 sub is your budget you could either sell that amp and buy one nicer sub and one nicer, but smaller power, amp or just get those two kenwoods and keep your gain way down. I wouldn't waste the money on them though seeing as how with $386 you could get a very nice 12 and a nice amp to power it.

Rule of thumb.. if a subs MSRP price is less than or equal to $100 and claims over a 1000w power handling expect it to be much less. In fact on the link you provided it says "380wRMS." I'm not saying they will be garbage subs.. my friend has some subs he bought for $100 and I personally love them, granted they aren't nearly as loud as mine but they do sound better. But in conclusion if I was in your situation I would take that amp back to the store and get a good mid level sub and amp, throw it in a nice box and be VERY happy with the outcome.

thank u for u reply , but the thing is that the Power acoustik amplifier i bought it for 50 $ from my friend that bought his car , he was going to let it go with the car , so i bought it from ( 50$ is nothing ) , so i don't know what 2 sub i can put to it to sound good ( kenwood , pioneer, jbl, etc) ... can u recomend somthing to me so the subs sounds good with this amp

lots of shit out there for that money. I'd say your amp is good for 2000-2500watts so you can just get one sub that can take that power or two subs that can take that power. The question now becomes, how much space do you have?

my car is a c55 amg 2005 , the trunk is relatively small , am allowed for 15.7" H & 35.4 " W & and like 27" D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif , i don't care if it's one sub , but the important thing is the enclosure as i was told , am know how to build an enclosure but i know nothing with enclosure dimensions, of course it should be ported/vented or bandpass, and i really like the bandpass more , can u help me by giving me like an enclosure dimensions or a draw or something, i really appreciate ur help
