Alright so i decided to throw in some new wiring and after getting it all in and done everything was fine for awhile. The next day i woke up and when i go to turn up the volume a bit i go into protect. Ive made sure my ground was good checked for something grounding out etc.

-Big 3 done in 0

-the amp is a Power acoustik 4000d(not too fond of it)

----Any help is appreciated----

You know you should reset your gains right? It might not much any difference, but it could have if your older wire feed was choking response.

Then your new feed would be giving a higher potential of gain which could send you easily into the realms of clipping and over-power.

Anytime I make a mod like that I would recheck settings. Just a thought.

what is it you dislike about your BAMF...I have one too, and have been considering upgrading to a sundown or etc but I dont know what im going to gain by going to a higher quality amp.

The build quality is just terrible. I knew it wasnt going to put out what its rated at most likely that wasnt even the issue, im on my second one because the first one i got was defective. And now components are just falling out... rediculous.
