Amplifier Fuse Size**Looking for info**

My cousin just picked up this amp from his older brother

Specs:

# Power Max (2 Ohm) 500 watts x 2

# Power RMS (4 Ohm) 210 watts x 2

# Power Bridged: 1000 watts x 1

Problem is it's missing a fuse...

Does anyone have any clue what size should go in there??

note: it only uses 1 fuse

rms is about 3-500 from what im seeing and guessing. and its boss so 30 or 40 should be fine

he said it was blowing 30amp fuses

so most likely 40?

if it was blowing 30s then try 40s. then if it blows 40s u probly got somthing wrong with the amp

how fast is it actually blowing them? is the fuses going as soon as the amp is turned on or when u strain the amp to push something?

According to the manual its a 25A fuse.

I have no clue. I'm going to have to trouble shoot him over the phone... All i know is that he keeps replacing 30amp fuses but now i'm starting to think that's not the problem.

Crossed wires or something of that sort must be doing it.

check your ground, bad ground could cause you to blow fuses and make sure there isnt a "kimk" in your power wire
