Amplifier for my Sundown EV3 12 D2

Yo guys,

I've been discussing a few times on threads here and I finally am ready to build my box. My sub is here.

It's a Sundown EV3 12", dual 2 ohm coil (click the name to check it out)

I've been looking for an amp to power it, 4 or 2 ohm.

Spent a while staring at this one, can any of you tell me if it's any good?

You noticed it's mosfet? Any doubts about that? And would you go for the Pioneer or the Hifonics? @papermaker

the pioneer is decent the hifonics is too but hifonics is known for not putting out rated power. they still good amps though..

id bet that hifonics does 1200 MRS @ 1ohm.if you can a get a good price on it go for it..

It's 40 euro's more expensive than the pioneer, so I think I'll go with the pioneer. 800 rms should be enough I think?

Yes id get the pioneer over the hifonics BUT the pioneer doesnt have a subsonic filter if your going to run the box ported

The only hifonics amps that are qorth getting are the brutus amps
