amping 6x9's, general component set questions. (wiring thru stock harness)

ok first ill ask about my components. i noticed (and posted about) how my components still play with the amp gain set at 0. i think i know why now, i ran my speaker wire from my amp into my dash and connected it to the front left and front right speakers. then used the stock speaker wires as my input to the xover. since its thru the factory wiring, is that why it plays when not amped?

second, i have a two channel amp. PA4212 (in sig) does 130 x 2 @ 4ohm. my comps are 75wRMS. i have a set of pioneer 6x9 (blue cone, dont know the model. walmart FTL) in the back. well after some trial and error with my comp set today i noticed a few things wrong which i wont go into (noob bullshit lol) got them working properly, reset my gain. OMG they are AMAZING. but, now... with my gain set to where i want it with my volume on my HU, my 6x9's distort. the HU volume is to loud for them i guess. im at 58/62 (did the 3/4 of the way up gain setting thing) my 6x9's start distorting around 48/62. can i amp my 6x9's on the same channel as my comps or would this cause aq short circuit with all the wires touching? i swear i heard someone say i could do this, but i want to know before i do. or do i need to get another amp for my 6x9's? i love my frontstage, but i like surround sound. i feel as if theres alot missing without a rear fill. maybe ill feel different once my drivers are hooked up, but as of now i want front and rear. any help is appreciated

Note. im running 4 ga right now, can i split the connection with a distro block to 3 amps, using 4 ga wire to power my component amp, 6x9 amp, and woofer amp? ill be pusing 1,100 watts to my drivers. 75w to my components, and maybe 40w to my 6x9's

If the speaker wire that is feeding the component set's crossover sources its signal from anywhere other than the amplifier that is supposed to be driving them, then yes.

You could amp those ByNines off of the same amp that is driving your front stage (so long as the amp is 2 Ohm stable in stereo, that is) but bear in mind that if you do so you will eliminate all fader functionality since the rear speakers will be receiving the front channels' signal.

I'd go 1/0awg off of the battery splitting to 4awg for the bass amp and no smaller than 8awg for the other two amps were it me...

In my experience the HU output gets pretty muddy at high volume. Take a look at the specs and I bet you find something liek 10% distortion at HU published output. Back it off or fade em out. The volume even with the gain set to 0 could either be acting as a passthrough (singnal in/signal out) or the gain may not reduce the amp to 0 output.

i cant fade. i happen to own one of those jacked up pioneers with the whining RCA's. i have my comp amp hooked up to my rear output. every other RCA connection causes BAD alt whine
