I had no room to drill for molex plug on drivers side so i just ran in next to it. Well it messed up the window locks and windows because it knocked the molex plug out.

Well its all fixed now, but I removed the speaker wire. How do you guys have yours done. Use factory wiring?

On my first car we just drilled a hole in the door and in the car frame in the hinge then just ran the wire through there...not exactly the safest method, especially since we didn't put any kind of grommet in there, lol

its a 96 Honda Accord

there was just no where to drill at all for the driver side molex so I didn't drill, just ran it next to it and it failed

I've run new wires in some vehicles and I tapped into the existing factory wires in other vehicles. Regardless, I highly doubt a couple of feet of factory wire will impact sound that greatly. In fact, I am using the factory wiring in my 2006 Mustang because I was too lazy to deal with the molex.

I am in the same boat with you because I want to run Active in my 1997 Civic next but the driver's side molex plug is chock a block full of wires.
