ampere audio 3.0? dc level 3? dayton ho?

I know i have asked 10000 times but ive narrowed it down to these 3. Does anyone have ampere audio 3.0 what size box do they like?

I have 3.2 cubes to work with and want to stay with 12s. Thanks again everyone.

i am in the same boat as you except that i know im getting an ampere 12, but im trying to decide how big i should get the box made. are you looking to get 1 or 2 subs? You could prolly fit 2 daytons with 3.2 cubes.

tfade had his aa3.0 in a 2 cube box and said it sounded nice, and i might just follow suit. the recommended range is between 1.75-2.25 cubes, you defenitely wont want to squeeze 2 ampere 12s into 3.2 cubes. Any idea what the displacement of these are?

Thats really not a lot of space for 2 12s unless they are super shallow. Better off running 2 10s properly or a nice beefy 12"

Is that 3.2 before or after port? What kind of car? I have 3 cubes available in a single cab truck, you should have way more space.

1.5 each in the 3.0 is fine we did all our testing on all the Aa 12s in that size box. And all of them did very well

How many square inches of port? I think i want to tune around 34 will those still hit the lows? Would u go with ampere or dc? I know the level 3 work well with 3.2 cubes but if the amperes will be louder and sound as good i might go with those.

Is there a thread u posted where u tested jw?

Where do u see the recommendation for box size? They say small box on site 1.75 is smallest on most subs dont understand why they say use small box then.

Yea but i dont believe they will get as loud as the 2 12s. Ive been told 2 12" dc level 3s will love a 3.2 cub after displacement box. They recommended 1.25 each. But if the amperes will be louder and sound as good. Id do that. I need someone with win isd to show me a graph. I tried doing it and i dunno of its right

It was done by Andrew at Aa not me personally I'd go with the Aa subs over the dc all day

Sorry its so small. I can make it bigger if i have to. But the yellow is the dc green is ampere. Both in 80l boxes = 3 cubes both at 34 hz. Left it at 1 watt instead of the 3400 ill be running. Any help would be greatly appreciated

DC only says small boxes because they will fall apart in a larger, much more efficient box. I had 3s-XL M2s. On the team for 2 years, nothing but issues and that was before they went for sale online
