Playing music you'll need 20-85A rms with spikes to 200-250A depending on volume and music type.

To actually need 100+ continuously you'd either have to be blasting test tones, or heavily clipping the amp on music.

How bad you'd be abusing a stock charging system depends a lot on your listening habits, but if you like to blast it a lot it won't be good.

now i have heard 2 kinetik 2400s and 1 PM d3100

i have also heard that 1pm3100>2 2400s

with the watts im putting out what would be my best bet. and im looking into any type of battery.

To be 100% honest here, stick with one battery or the other. don't mix batteries. There is no use for it and it could end up shortening the lifespan of some of them. There is not much difference between all thick plate group 31 batteries, depending on who you ask. Some fanboys will say "buy my brand" and you would probably be fine. Any of the major names will give you good performance.

Those are the most popular G31 batteries. Choose one and stick with it. each is good for about 2400W RMS playing music on solid electrical. Since you will be running stock alt, figure one for every 2000W RMS to be safe.
