Amperage capacity for amplifier power cables

Does anyone know what the amperage capacities are for stranded powercable? I have a 4ga amp wiring kit and installed a 150amp ANL fuse on it. It will soon be connected to my Kicker KX850.2 amplifier which draws 120 amps. Kicker says use a 2ga wiring kit. I want to make sure that I'm not risking damage to my truck or amplifier by using this fuse. Please help

and if kicker says 2 ga.--use 2 ga. i'd like to be the insurance adjuster on that car fire--"what , you didn't believe the manufacturer when they said 2 ga. or larger?" not that it would actually catch fire...

Actually, the amp kit was bought previously for another amp which I never hooked up before reselling. It also draws 120amps and only required a 4ga. kit.

ahhh i see--so your wondering why one amp says use 4 ga and the other says 2 ga and they both draw the same load. right? well kicker must over do it on their recommendation so there won't be any question--but yeah 4 ga should be fine

It's a 95 Chevy S-10. But the system I have recently bought won't fit in it so I'm looking at '02-'03 Tahoes and Yukons. I bought a new system that wouldn't fit my truck purposely so I would have incentive to get a larger ride. I'm a big guy and I look a little silly rollin' in a tiny truck like the S-10.
