amp with small footprint but decent power

Great choice on the PDX. If you back out because of price, check out the following:

That's not what I would call small.

Them and eclipse use "ICE" technologie for their amps, suppose to run cooler and be smaller, I cant say anything about if they run cool or not, but they aren't small.

^ 7.5 x 12 x 2.25 inches is a fairly small amp, imo. Not compared to the PDX, but still small.
