Amp with a bluetooth connection?

Right now the way I have my car set up like iPad Mini >> Head Unit >> Amp >> Speakers. The iPad and Head unit streams music through bluetooth. A friend of mine says there's an amp out there that can accept bluetooth streaming so you can bypass the head unit all together. Does such thing exist?

I'd love to replace my head unit with some customized boost gauges if it were possible.

I know that there are people saying bluetooth quality is terrible, but I'm not that much of an audiophile to notice.

A good bluetooth connection can sound great. My old HU was super cheap bluetooth and sounded like junk, my new HU sounds exactly like aux or USB hookups.
Auxiliary and usb sound completely different when playing decently recorded music.

They sound the same to my ear in my setup, playing off my iPhone. I'm sure I could tell a difference if I had a higher quality setup than I currently do, but I can't as is.

Most people are not audiophiles. Bluetooth having sh*t quality is a thing of the past. It used to sound terrible. But Bluetooth technology has come a long way, and personally sounds find for daily listening. (imo)
