Amp turns on but nothing to the subs

Well i have been driving around with no bass and its killing me. My amp turns on just fine the fan works and everything so I know its on. I checked my rca's nothing wrong, speaker wires are good i can't figure out what is going on. Please help i need bass.

Already did that but im not sure to set it to Ac or Dc on the dmm. I think my subs might be done which would absolutely **** because they are the best I have had. I heard like a little pop and then everything stopped working.

A/c voltage. did you smell anything before or after the pop?

smelled a little but nothing that I would be like o shit.. I did AC and i got juice from the speaker terminals. I hope the ID Max's didn't take a shit on me I will be pissed. I think I got around 13 off of the speaker terminals.

Are you wiring the subs straight to the amp? Or are they wired together? Something internally could be ****ed up..

the subs are wired straight to the amp. I'm hoping it is my amp. I have another amp coming in that was on backorder since forever so I will see how that goes. I took the amp apart and there are no black marks or anything like that. I found a little piece of something that was black and had writing on it. Not sure what it was but I'm guessing it wasn't good that it wasn't where it was suppose to be. I will prob be shipping the amp to db-r soon.

take your meter put it in the ohms range, lowest setting like 20 or 200 and hook it to your speaker wire while disconnected from the amp. you should read if the coils aren't cooked.

Just put one wire on the red lead and the other wire on the black lead

okay and just leave the subs the way it is now and have the wires in the leads on the subs?

I will be doing this tmrw because I'm beat i really hope its not the id max's

okay did the subs and I got 1.5ohms on each sub. So they are obvioulsy good. Now I don't know what else to check.
