Amp turns on, But no output

Just got a new amp. Everything is plugged up right. Powers up no problem. But when i plugged the subs in i get no output i dunno what it could be unless its the RCA's and there brand new.

Exactly what amp are you running?

1. Check the h/u make sure sub is on

2. Check to make sure the amplifier is in master and not slave mode.

Checked both. they were right.

most amp the power light will come on with just the remote and ground. check ur 12v

Looks fine to me. I have 2 Batteries in the back. Should each POS be ran to them or to the front?

The sub Plays but it barely moves. Wired to 1 ohm. and im almost positive its wired right. D2 neg to neg pos to pos then ran to the amp.

i dont think anything is fried. the amp is brand new. 2 days old. never been powered.

Does your sub have dual coils or more? make sure the + goes to + and - goes to - because if they're wired in the opposite then your sub will barely move and you can cook the coil rather quickly doing so.

There was once that we got done doing an install, took about 3 days and we couldn't get any sound out of the subs. It was late and we were tired and crabby and my friends and I got pissed at each other, I blamed my friend for a bad power/ground wiring job and he blamed me for wiring the subs wrong. Turns out the headunit's subwoofer output wasn't turned on.
