My amp for my subs won't come on. I don't think its the amp, its brand new (at least I hope its not...) so anyways I got an volt tester(red for +12/blue for -12) so I checked my ground and all my connections. The ground showed blue, the remote swtich showed red (when radio is on) and the power cable from the battery showed nothing!. Is that a problem? Do I need an new power cable? Or could it be something else? Thanks for your help..

I am aware of that, and I did, but when I checked the connection with a volt meter it did not read anything. Is tha suppose to happen?does that mean that my power cable is bad?
