Amp to push a pair of 1008a's

I'm gonna get a pair of DD 1008a's here in a little bit, and was just looking for some input for an amp to push them.

I'm more than likely going with a box thats 1 cube tuned to about 36Hz PER SUB. If not that, then .75cubes tuned to 42Hz per sub.

From searching, I've come up with a broad range of power for em from 300 wrms (it's rated power) up to 600 wrm for daily use.

so, my question is what amp in the range of 600-1200watts would do em justice? quality amp, maximum price of $500, but

i had 1 in a .87 cubic foot box tuned to 35 hz. i didn't like the sound much after ~600 watts. maybe i am just an SQ nut though.

Id prolly get that soundstream one. Thats their picasso class amps.. pretty nice ones.

Power acoustik is always around when you are on a budget.

But yeah.. I like that soundstream a lot. They also have a new 3500D series.. but that is prolly too much power for those subs.
