Just bought 2 10" rockford fosgate p3s with dual voice coils and 4ohm. I need to know of a cheap/solid amp that can push these two. Would either of these two work? (The guy said i need a single channel mono d amp with 1000 watts at 1 ohm) Any help is appreciated!

Pyle 1800-Watt 2-Channel Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier - 900W X 2 Channels

2 x 900W RMS at 4 ohms

1800W max at 4 ohms bridged

Autotek 1000-Watt Amplifier

1000 watts into 1 ohm or 500 watts into 2 ohms

250 watts into 4 ohms

Class D amplifier design

An option would be to look on ebay for the Rockford fosgate T3002 2 channel amp, these amps are will bounce the heck out of those 10's, yes they will probably take more power but that amp is a good amp. It is claimed that they will produce 800+watts at 1ohm bridged. I sold the 1 that I had to my buddies son who has it hooked up to 2 12" Type R's.

In a sealed box in a Bonneville and the amp all the way dowm for break in and it really makes some bass. They make that class of amps bigger aswell. I am currently pushing 2 12" P3's with a Cadence z1200-c which is rated at 750w x 2 at 4ohm but I'm running it at 2ohm and it hits those pretty good, point I'm making is the T3002 IMO is just as good as the Cadence, and good enough to hit a 140db in a custom sealed truck box behind the rear seat of a crew cab and not near enough power. This was with the new style meter not a mic.

These amps go for around $100 on ebay and well worht the money IMO.

Hope that helps in your decision making, although there are many options.

your budget? i just bought the AQ1200D. its $230 and does 870watts rms x1 @2ohms.

should be good enough for the two 10s that are rated at 400watts apiece.
