I'm not really seeing how thats better, The 4ohm RMS is the same for the amps but the PA amp has a higher 2ohm rms rating than the hifonics, and it also has a higher peak too. can you explain why the hifonics is better?

in my experience hifonics makes better quality amps

and now-adays #'s don't seem to mean much

they don't tell you at what volt they do output nor the thd and even when they do more often then not it can't be trusted

i know my 1200.1 hifonics can kick my 2 kicker cvr's rated 400 rms in sealed box, up and down the block. and hurt them if i want it to and i paid 200 shipped

Hell, I just saw the Alpine MRP-M450, whats your take on that. I'll look into the hifonics anyways.

don't have experience with alpine amps, but if you prefer it ask other members for feedback

Cadence txa 750d's go for under $100 all day on ebay. Cheap, reliable, has warranty.....Seems like a good choice for a single alpine type R to me.

For the type "R's" this one would be better.

dont buy this ish dude, i had that exact same amp for my first system, it got incredibly hot all the time, then blew... its a piece and the SQ is absolute shit coming from it....

It's made by cadence. It's a nice amp. It has a 2 year warranty. It will do > rated power.

Theres tons of people running the txa 1000D's. They are nice amps.

Jason Paul (runner of the service department) is a good guy.

i type r's can be picked up for 107 if you buy 2 of 110 if you buy 1. brand new shipped to your door. from x-sounds on ebay. and the in the correct box type r's can sound good.
